Ingredients

  • 1 package spring roll wrappers about 12 sheets
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ½ cup bean sprouts
  • ½ cup cooked chicken or shrimp optional, diced small
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Olive oil spray

Method

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté garlic, cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil. Remove from heat.
  3. Place 2 tbsp of the filling in each spring roll wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll tightly, sealing with a little water.
  4. Lightly spray each roll with olive oil.
  5. Arrange spring rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with dipping sauces like sweet chili or soy sauce.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
  • Add cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu for extra protein.
  • Freeze uncooked spring rolls; air fry straight from frozen (add 3–5 minutes to cooking time).
  • Best served immediately for maximum crispiness.
