Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken rotisserie chicken works great
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce such as Frank’s RedHot
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 green onions sliced (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Stir in hot sauce and ranch (or blue cheese) dressing.
  4. Mix in shredded chicken, cheddar, and mozzarella.
  5. Spread mixture evenly into a baking dish (8x8 works well).
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a Buffalo dip crock pot version: Mix all ingredients and heat on LOW for 2–3 hours.
  • Use blue cheese crumbles instead of cheddar for a classic chicken wing dip recipe flavor.
  • Great with tortilla chips, celery sticks, crackers, or bread slices.
