  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ pound breakfast sausage pork or turkey
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing
  • Optional Add-ins:
  • ¼ cup diced bell peppers or onions
  • Hot sauce or salsa for dipping

Method

  1. Cook the Sausage:
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and crumbly. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
  3. Scramble the Eggs:

  9. Cool & Serve:
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Make ahead: Assemble rolls the night before and bake fresh in the morning.
  • Freezer-friendly: Freeze unbaked rolls and bake straight from frozen when needed.
  • Cheese swap: Use pepper jack or mozzarella for a flavor twist.
  • Add veggies: Bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach boost nutrition.
  • Reheat tip: Reheat in the oven or air fryer for a crisp texture.
