  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • For the Chocolate Coating:
  • 2 cups chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil optional, for smoother melting
  • For Decoration optional:
  • Crushed Oreos
  • Chopped Reese’s cups
  • Melted peanut butter drizzle
  • Sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Truffle Base
  2. ⏱️ Time: 5 minutes
  3. Add the Oreo crumbs, softened cream cheese, and peanut butter to a mixing bowl.
  4. Beat until smooth and fully combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups using a spatula.
  6. Roll the Truffles
  7. ⏱️ Time: 10 minutes
  8. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a smooth ball.
  9. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. Freeze for 15–20 minutes to firm up before coating.
  11. Melt the Chocolate
  12. ⏱️ Time: 3–5 minutes
  13. Add chocolate wafers (or chocolate chips + coconut oil) to a microwave-safe bowl.
  14. Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and silky.
  15. Coat the Truffles

  17. Using a fork, dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate.
  18. Tap gently to remove excess chocolate.
  19. Transfer back to the lined baking sheet.
  20. Decorate and Set

  22. Drizzle with melted peanut butter or sprinkle crushed Oreos/Reese’s pieces on top before the chocolate hardens.
  23. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until fully set.
