Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • Juice of 1 large lemon
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream optional
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, then simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  6. (Optional) Add heavy cream and stir to create a creamy sauce.
  7. Return chicken to the pan and coat with the lemon sauce.
  8. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy.
