Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil or olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups whole wheat flour use almond flour for keto-friendly version
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts dark chocolate chips, or chia seeds

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven:
  2. Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Prepare wet ingredients:
  4. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add eggs, melted coconut oil, honey, and vanilla extract. Whisk together until well combined.
  5. Mix dry ingredients:
  6. In another bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  7. Combine mixtures:
  8. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir gently with a spatula until no dry flour remains. Don’t overmix — it keeps the bread soft.
  9. Add extras (optional):
  10. Fold in your nuts, chocolate chips, or seeds for added texture and flavor.
  11. Bake:
