- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line and grease an 8–9 inch cake pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar; add yogurt, melted butter, honey, vanilla, and zest.
- Fold dry mixture into wet just until combined.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 28–34 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While warm, drizzle or brush extra honey over the cake.
- Cool, top with nuts if desired, slice, and serve.
Notes
For extra moisture, poke small holes in the cake before glazing with honey.
Store covered at room temperature up to 2 days or refrigerate up to 5 days.
Warm slices briefly before serving for the best flavor.
