Ingredients
  

  • For the Burger Patties
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 80/20 recommended
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • For Serving
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese cheddar, Swiss, gouda, or blue cheese
  • Lettuce or arugula
  • Tomato slices
  • Caramelized onions
  • Pickles
  • Optional Gourmet Toppings
  • Avocado slices
  • Mushrooms
  • Garlic aioli
  • BBQ sauce

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until combined and form into 4 patties.
  3. Press a small indentation into the center of each patty.
  4. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook burgers for 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached.
  6. Add cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  7. Toast brioche buns lightly on the grill or skillet.
  8. Assemble burgers with toppings of choice and serve immediately.
