Prep the potatoes:
Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Season:
Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle generously with salt. Add any seasonings you prefer, like pepper or garlic powder.
Air fry:
Place the potatoes in your air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each one. Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Check doneness:
Pierce a potato with a fork; it should glide in easily when done. If still firm, air fry for 5 more minutes.
Serve:
Cut the potatoes open lengthwise and fluff the inside with a fork. Add your favorite toppings — from butter and cheese to yogurt and herbs.
