Method
- Cook Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the Beef
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add Aromatics
- Stir in onion and cook until softened. Add garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Make the Sauce
- Pour in beef broth and let simmer for 3–4 minutes. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Combine
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the creamy beef sauce.
- Finish
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Notes
Bow tie pasta works especially well for creamy beef and bow tie pasta
Ground turkey can be substituted for a lighter option
Add mushrooms or spinach for extra nutrition
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
Reheat gently with a splash of cream or broth
