Preheat oven:
Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
Mash bananas:
In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth and creamy.
Add wet ingredients:
Mix in melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
Add dry ingredients:
Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir gently until just mixed.
Add yogurt and chocolate chips:
Fold in Greek yogurt and chocolate chips for a moist texture and chocolatey goodness.
Bake:
Pour batter into loaf pan, top with extra chocolate chips, and bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
Cool and serve:
Let the loaf cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then move to a rack. Slice and enjoy once cooled.
