Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts cut in half lengthwise to make 4 cutlets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Sandwich:
  • 4 sandwich rolls ciabatta, baguette, or croissants
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • ½ cup shaved Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: cooked bacon strips tomato slices, or avocado

Method
 

  1. Cook the chicken
  2. Season chicken cutlets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Grill, pan-sear, or bake until golden brown and fully cooked (165°F/74°C). Set aside.
  4. Prepare the bread
  5. Toast the sandwich rolls lightly for structure. Spread Caesar dressing on both sides of the bread.
  6. Assemble the sandwich
  7. Layer romaine lettuce, chicken, and shaved Parmesan cheese.
  8. Add bacon, tomato, or avocado if desired.
  9. Drizzle extra Caesar dressing on top before closing the sandwich.
  10. Serve
  11. Slice in half and serve warm with fries, chips, or a fresh salad.
