Ingredients
  

  • For the Cajun Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings split into flats and drums
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper for extra heat

  • Ranch or blue cheese dip
  • Lemon wedges
  • Chopped parsley

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Wings
  2. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels to help them crisp in the oven.
  3. Place wings in a large bowl.
  4. Season
  5. Add Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the wings.
  7. Toss until all wings are evenly coated.
  8. Bake
  9. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  10. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  11. Arrange wings in a single layer for even crisping.
  12. Bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  13. Serve
  14. Transfer wings to a serving platter.
  15. Garnish with parsley and serve with dipping sauces or lemon wedges.

Notes

Extra crispy tip: Use a wire rack so heat circulates around the wings.
Adjust the spice: Add cayenne or hot sauce if you love heat, or reduce the Cajun seasoning for milder wings.
Air fryer option: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, shaking halfway.
Flavor twist: Toss wings in melted butter + 1 tbsp extra Cajun seasoning for a saucy finish.
