Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the Honey BBQ Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, add breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each chicken piece into flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
  6. Place coated chicken pieces on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  8. In a saucepan, mix BBQ sauce, honey, ketchup, and soy sauce; heat gently.
  9. Toss baked chicken in the honey BBQ sauce until coated.
  10. Serve immediately while crispy.

  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
