Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 450g chicken tenderloins (or chicken breast cut into strips)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs or crushed cornflakes for extra crunch
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat dry the chicken tenderloins and season with a little salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat each chicken strip in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place on the baking sheet, leaving space between each piece. Lightly spray with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular ones.
  • Add grated parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mixture for more flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to keep them crispy.
  • Perfect to serve with honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or ranch dressing.
