Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Spread blueberries evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Sprinkle sugar evenly over the blueberries.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the berry layer. Do not stir.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much dry mix as possible.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
- Fresh or frozen blueberries both work perfectly.
- Add lemon zest for brighter flavor.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 4 days.
- White or butter cake mix can be substituted for yellow cake mix.
