Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C).
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the butter, water, and salt to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the flour all at once and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until the mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the saucepan.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until the mixture is smooth.
  6. Use a spoon or piping bag to drop the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making small mounds about 1 inch in diameter.
