Taco Ring Recipe :

Tacos, with their versatile fillings and zesty flavors, are beloved by many. However, there’s a fun and unique way to enjoy the essence of tacos that combines the convenience of a casserole with the familiar appeal of a taco – the Taco Ring. Instructions:

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cooking:

  1. In a 5-quart (4.7-L) Brilliance Nonstick Saute Pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat for 10–12 minutes until it’s no longer pink. Break the beef into crumbles as it cooks, then drain any excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to a Classic Batter Bowl.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning mix, 1½ cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, and the water.

Assembling the Taco Ring:

  1. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 16 triangles.
  2. Arrange the triangles in a circle on a Pizza Stone, with the wide ends of the triangles overlapping in the center and the points toward the outside. There should be a 5″ (13-cm)-diameter opening in the center of the stone, and the narrow triangle points of dough will extend off the edge of the baking stone.
  3. Using a Large Scoop, evenly distribute the beef and cheese filling over the dough in a continuous circle.
  4. Bring the points of the triangles up over the filling and tuck them under the dough at the center to form a ring, allowing the filling to show.
  5. Brush the top of the ring with the beaten egg white.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
