Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • Pickles, optional
  • Ketchup and mustard, for serving
  • Butter, for grilling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, spread butter on the inside of each burger bun. Place the buns on the panini press or grill pan, buttered side down, and cook until lightly toasted. Remove from heat.
